Lehigh Valley Hospital is ranked 24th in the country for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery!

Teamwork
It takes a large team to make us one of the best heart and lung surgery programs in the country.
This team consists of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, and medical consultants from all disciplines.
And, the team consists of nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, perfusionists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists, and on and on.
Finally, to keep it all together, it takes a crack team of hospital and practice administrators.

Did you know that this is the most prestigious award in nursing?
Lehigh Valley Hospital is one of only 60 or so hospitals in the country and the
only full-service hospital in Pennsylvania to receive this award.
Fox-Chase Cancer Center also received this award, but they are considered a
specialty hospital. The award signifies that Lehigh Valley
Hospital is a "magnet" to attract the highest quality nurses, because of the
hospital's achievements in nursing care, education, and research. |
