What's Important?

Historically, one of the most enjoyable parts of being a physician is the common oath that we all share and the camaraderie that comes from years of training together and working to save patients' lives.

And yet, modern medicine has become challenged by limited resources, rising costs, and strained relationships.  In this essay, I encouraged our membership to remember our calling and to strive to find common ground for physicians and hospitals.
